Queensland Rail is an integrated customer and rail infrastructure business servicing the passenger, tourism, resources and freight customer markets throughout Queensland. The organisation aims to be the safest, best performing and most customer focused railway in Australia.
At Queensland Rail, we believe safety comes first. Always.
As the South East Queensland (SEQ) region grows, so too does customer demand for rail services. This growth is expected to accelerate, especially with the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Over the next decade, we will benefit from the largest investment in rail infrastructure in SEQ's history. This investment will modernise the network, making it even safer, more accessible and better connected, while also enhancing overall service delivery.
We are seeking an experienced and influential Change Manager to join our SEQ Integration Team. This role will play a critical part in supporting our leaders to effectively lead their people through the SEQ Change Journey to 2032 and beyond. This includes but is not limited to projects such as Cross River Rail, European Train Control System (ETCS), and Queensland Train Manufacturing Program (QTMP).
To be successful in this role, you will thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment, be a natural relationship builder and enjoy working with a diverse range of stakeholders. You will bring a strategic and personalised approach, strong change leadership capability and the ability to influence outcomes across complex programs of work.
We are seeking talented change professionals to fill both a 12-month fixed-term opportunity and a permanent opportunity. These roles are responsible for co-developing the strategic Change Roadmap for our SEQ Leadership, delivering associated strategic and tactical change communications, and ensuring our leaders are equipped with the capability to effectively lead sustainable change.
Reporting to the Senior Mgr Change & Business Readiness, you will:
Identify capability impacts and training requirements, working closely with the SEQ Training Managers and Queensland Rail’s Training and Development team to support successful adoption of new processes, systems and ways of working.
