TrendPac is one of Australia’s leading contract manufacturers of household, personal care and cleaning products. As we grow, we’re running a recruitment drive for skilled, experienced Production Operators across our Plastics and Filling operations. These are hands-on, full-time roles for people who take pride in running a line well – safely, to standard, and with the mechanical know-how to keep it moving.
We’re specifically looking for Operator Level 3 talent: production professionals with strong mechanical aptitude, a quality-first mindset, and the right attitude to own their work area and help the team perform.
About the Roles
You’ll safely run your allocated work area to standard – operating machinery, maintaining product quality, completing checks accurately and responding early to abnormalities. As a Level 3 Operator you’ll go beyond standard running: making approved baseline adjustments, performing repeatable minor fixes, and carrying out first-line recovery to get the line back to standard.
What You’ll Be Doing
-
Safely operate machinery and run your allocated Plastics or Filling work zone to standard across a full shift.
- Carry out quality-at-source checks, GMP/housekeeping and process discipline – spotting quality issues before they become problems.
- Complete standard operating checks and escalate abnormalities early and clearly.
- Perform approved baseline adjustments, repeatable minor fixes, first-line recovery and resets to standard settings (Level 3 tasks).
- Support changeovers and work alongside Line Setters, learning and signing off adjustments to build capability.
- Record downtime, waste and production data accurately and contribute to A4 / 5-Why problem solving and continuous improvement.
- Look out for your mates – report hazards and incidents promptly and help maintain a strong safety culture.
What You’ll Bring
-
Solid production / manufacturing experience – ideally FMCG, and in a Plastics (injection / blow moulding, bottles) or Filling / Liquids environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude – confident making minor adjustments and first-line fixes to keep the line running.
- The right attitude – reliable, safety-focused, quality-driven and a genuine team player who takes ownership.
- Sound numeracy and literacy, and comfort with basic computer/data entry (downtime, waste and production records).
- Working knowledge of GMP, quality “right first time” principles and safe work practices; exposure to LEAN / continuous improvement is a plus.
- Willingness and availability to commit to a rotating or fixed shift – Day, Afternoon or Night.
The Shifts
Roles are available across all shifts (approx. 38 hours per week). Tell us your preference when you apply:
-
Day Shift – 7:36am to 3:22pm
- Afternoon (Arvo) Shift 1 – 3:22pm to 11:08pm
