We're looking for compassionate and experienced casual Registered Nurse to join our dedicated Residential Aged Care team at IRT Woodlands, Meridan Plains, QLD.
As a registered nurse, you'll play an important role in delivering high-quality, person-centred clinical care that enhances the health, wellbeing and quality of life of our residents. You'll be supported by a collaborative team that shares your commitment to making every day meaningful for those in our care.
To support our residents' care needs, we're looking for nurses who are flexible and available to work a variety of shifts, including morning, afternoon and night shifts across the week. Flexibility to work across different shift types is essential for this role.
How You’ll Make a Difference
- Deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred nursing care to residents.
- Assess residents' clinical needs and develop, implement and review individualised care plans.
- Coordinate and participate in multidisciplinary case conferences.
- Complete admission, routine and ongoing clinical assessments.
- Administer medications, treatments and wound care in line with best practice and legislative requirements.
- Monitor residents' health, identify changes in condition and document care accurately.
- Lead infection prevention and control practices, including outbreak management.
- Support, mentor and supervise care staff to deliver exceptional resident care.
- Foster positive relationships with residents, families and the wider care team.
