Injury Management Doctors partners with employers and insurers across NSW to manage workers' compensation, motor vehicle (CTP), and workplace injury cases. We are seeking doctors interested in undertaking sessional injury management work alongside their existing clinical commitments.
The role is a hybrid role with tele-health as well as in clinic consults, and offers flexible hours that accommodate hospital, practice, and training commitments. The scope is limited to injury management — there is no general practice, after-hours, or on-call component.
Responsibilities
- Conduct telehealth assessments and reviews of injured workers
- Issue Certificates of Capacity and develop return-to-work plans
- Review case files and prepare medical reports and clinical opinions
- Liaise with insurers, employers, and allied health providers
Requirements
- Current general AHPRA registration (no additional qualifications required)
- Open to doctors at any career stage — residents, registrars, and non-specialist medical officers welcome
- Strong written communication and report-writing skills
- An interest in occupational medicine, injury management, or return-to-work practice
