Sky Studio Co is a well known barber salon located in Bunbury.
We are now seeking a full-time Barber to join our growing team. The successful
candidate would have:
- At least an Australian Certificate III in Hairdressing/Barbering or equivalent with 12 months of experience in the role; or
- At least 3 years of experience in the role in lieu of the relevant qualification.
Main duties include:
- Performing all aspects of men’s grooming at a professional standard.
- Providing advice to clients on hair care, hairstyles, beard maintenance
- Recommending and promoting salon products and services to enhance client experience
- Shampooing hair and conditioning scalps.
- Cutting and styling hair with scissors, clippers, and razors
- Shaving, trimming and shaping beards and moustaches
- Maintaining an optimum level of hygiene and safety in all services performed
- Ensuring all tools and equipment are cleaned, sterilized, and maintained appropriately and keeping the work area, organized, and presentable
- Assisting with appointment scheduling and client payments
- Maintain company procedures in regards to cash handling and record
- keeping while observing safety protocol during opening and closing of the salon
- Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the salon are up to standard
