Carpenter – Sustainable Residential Construction
Location: Torquay, Geelong & Surrounds
Job Type: Subcontractor to start - potential for ongoing permanent employment

We’re a growing team specialising in sustainable residential builds, with a strong focus on quality workmanship and energy-efficient design. We're looking for a skilled and dependable Carpenter who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of building better homes for the future, to join our team on a subcontractor basis initially - this gives us both the chance to ensure it's a good fit.

Key Responsibilities
- Complete a wide range of carpentry work across all stages of construction
- Accurately interpret plans and specifications
- Maintain a clean, safe and professional site
- Support and guide junior team members when needed
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other trades
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in residential carpentry (framing, fix, and fit-off)
- Own tools and reliable transport
- Trade qualification and White Card
- Strong understanding of construction best practices
- Experience or interest in Passive House or sustainable construction is a bonus
