About the Role
This role is vital to the maintenance and upkeep of departmental schools.
To be successful in the role you will need to have good planning and prioritising skills and good communication skills to work effectively with others.
You will perform a range of tasks relating to the routine maintenance and upkeep of a Departmental School/grounds. The role may assist with the set up and removal of furniture and equipment for school activities. You will identify and report maintenance and safety issues. You will receive, store and distribute supplies and monitor equipment and report faults.

Rooty Hill Public School is an integral part of the local community located in Western Sydney, where we provide 'Quality Education in a Vibrant, Caring School’. We pride ourselves on our shared moral imperative of 'All Learners, All Backgrounds, All Succeeding'. As part of the Learning Neighbourhood we work with our local schools: Eastern Creek PS; Minchinbury PS; and Rooty Hill HS to provide a seamless education from Kindergarten to Year 12. We have a student enrolment of 650 students including five Multi-categorical (MC) support classes which includes students from across the local area.
