Surun Services is a well-established electrical contracting company delivering critical infrastructure projects and maintenance to local and state government bodies across the Perth Metro Area and depot based south of the river.
We are looking for experienced and qualified experience to join our current team in casual to full time positions.
- Bobcat/Excavator Operators
Your role will involve collaborating closely with the team, with a focus on safety, quality, and getting the job done right the first time.
Works include:
- Excavation, trenching, installing cabling and conduit.
- Site preparation, material handling, and other site tasks
- Following safety rules and ensuring a safe working environment
- Working with the team to complete projects on time and to a high standard
- Safely operate plant and equipment (excavators, elevated work platforms, tip trucks, truck mounted cranes)
Applicant’s requirements:
- Construction Industry White Card
- Current WA Manual HR Driver’s License
- Experience in reading and understanding plans and schematic drawings.
- Current operator tickets with recent experience in civil operations/ ground services/excavations
- A strong work ethic and a can-do attitude.
- Able to follow procedures and processes.
- Maintain, care and respect machines & equipment.
- Work steadily and consistently to meet agreed timelines.
- Take care and maintain pride in the quality of work and work environments.
Highly regarded:
- Concreting experience
- Pole lighting installation experience
- First Aid Certificate
- Dogging and Rigging Certification
- Licence to Perform High Risk Works Minimum class - Boom Type 11+mtrs Elevating Work Platforms (EWP)
- Working Safely at Heights Certification (WAH)
- Traffic Management
- Low Voltage Rescue / CPR

Pay: $45.00 – $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
