We're looking for an experienced Commissioning Engineer who enjoys solving technical challenges, working on complex industrial projects and seeing systems come to life in the field.

Reporting to the Project Engineering Team Lead, you'll play a critical role in delivering successful customer outcomes by leading the commissioning phase of projects across Australia and occasionally internationally.
You'll work closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, Field Service Partners, customers and our Customer Experience team to ensure every installation is commissioned safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.
No two weeks are the same—you'll split your time between working remotely, in our office and on customer sites.
Lead on-site and remote commissioning activities for VERIDAPT solutions
Develop commissioning plans alongside project teams and customers
Inspect installations before commissioning and identify any issues
Troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, networking and control system issues
Support installers and Field Service Partners throughout commissioning
Deliver technical training to installers, partners and customers
Provide post go-live support alongside our Customer Experience team
Create commissioning documentation, reports and handover records
Help improve commissioning processes and technical documentation
Provide Tier 2 technical support when required
Always work safely and champion WHS best practice
You'll be someone who enjoys getting hands-on with technology and isn't afraid to roll up your sleeves to solve problems.
Ideally you'll bring:
Degree or trade qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Telecommunications or a related Engineering discipline
Minimum 5 years' commissioning experience in industrial environments
Experience with electrical systems, instrumentation, control systems and industrial networking
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting capability
Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work directly with customers
High attention to detail and strong documentation skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently on remote sites
Current Australian Driver's License
Mining industry experience
Experience with diesel fuel systems or infrastructure
Previous experience training technicians or contractors
This role involves regular travel throughout Australia, supporting projects during installation and commissioning.
There may also be opportunities for international travel to train and support our global partners.
