About the Role
We're looking for reliable, experienced contract cleaners to provide household cleaning services to NDIS participants across Sydney. You'll be cleaning private homes for people living with disability, helping them maintain a safe, comfortable living environment as part of their NDIS supports. This is contract work — you'll invoice us as an independent contractor, not as an employee.
What You'll Be Doing
- General household cleaning (kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, bedrooms) in participants' private homes
- Working respectfully and patiently with people with disability, including physical, sensory, and psychosocial disabilities
- Following individual client cleaning plans and any specific safety or access requirements
- Maintaining professional, reliable communication with our scheduling team
- Reporting any concerns about a client's welfare or home environment
What You Need to Apply
To work as a cleaning contractor for our NDIS clients, you must have (or be willing to obtain before starting):
- A valid NDIS Worker Screening Check — required for anyone attending a participant's home and having contact with them. This is separate from a standard police check and must be applied for through Service NSW.
- A current national Police Check
- Your own ABN (Australian Business Number) — you'll be engaged and paid as a contractor, not an employee
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module ("Quality, Safety and You") — free, online, via the NDIS Commission website
- Understanding of and agreement to work in line with the NDIS Code of Conduct
- Your own reliable transport, and your own cleaning equipment/supplies (unless otherwise arranged)
- A current NSW driver's licence (preferred, for travelling between clients)
- Previous cleaning experience (commercial, residential, or NDIS/aged care/disability sector preferred but not essential)
- Starting at 2h everyday and with the possibility of increasing daily
- Competitive contractor rates, paid promptly on invoice

This is a contractor role, not direct employment. Successful applicants will be engaged under a services agreement and are responsible for their own tax, superannuation and insurance arrangements as an independent contractor.
Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
