The staff at Community Palliative Care are a multidisciplinary team providing specialist palliative care support for people with a life limiting illness and their families/carers.
Key Responsibilities include:
Deliver independent high level social work clinical practice with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision. Exercise professional judgement to a complex caseload, adapting routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence.
Provide high level clinical advice, education and influence towards a common patient-centred vision and direction to professional operational teams and relevant stakeholders regarding service delivery.
Provide leadership oversight and clinical practice supervision to less experienced social work practitioners and students as delegated.
Facilitate and contribute to clinical research projects of clinical importance to the relevant Allied Health profession or multidisciplinary team, seeking outcomes that influence standards of clinical practice and the delivery of services.
Remuneration comprising salary rates $64.64 - $69.55 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (part time, 45.6 hrs p.f.).
