About you
You will have 3-5 years' experience in a generalist HR or recruitment role (ideally early careers or graduate recruitment).
Key attributes and skills will include:
- Demonstrated experience successfully managing end-to-end seasonal clerkship, graduate and/or bulk recruitment and selection in a corporate environment
- Experience designing or contributing to clerkship or graduate programs
- Strong knowledge of the Early Careers employment market
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or Learning and Development will be highly regarded
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong planning, organisation and time management skills
- Excellent ability to evaluate candidates and assess their suitability
- Familiarity with recruitment software and applicant tracking systems
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work in a fast-paced environment
- A passion for building relationships and connecting talented individuals with career opportunities
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence through results and credibility
Your role
This opportunity will see you join our National People and Development team and plays a key role in shaping Gadens’ future talent pipeline. As the Early Careers Advisor/Partner, you will lead and deliver the firm’s national seasonal clerkship and graduate programs, ensuring consistency, quality and alignment with our strategic workforce priorities.
You will partner closely with Partners, leaders and key stakeholders across the business to provide strategic advice and practical solutions on early careers talent, while enhancing our employer brand and market presence.
The position can be based in Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney and will require regular travel across offices.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Lead the design and delivery of Gadens’ national clerkship and graduate programs, ensuring a consistent and high-quality experience
- Advise and collaborate with Partners and stakeholders to deliver strategic and practical talent and resourcing solutions
- Lead the seasonal clerk and graduate recruitment campaigns, including attraction, selection, offer processes and ensuring a seamless and engaging candidate experience
- Drive Early Careers initiatives and continuous improvement projects aligned to business needs
- Partner with the Brand, Clients and Markets team to develop and deliver high-impact Early Careers marketing, campaigns and collateral, including university partnerships and external engagement initiatives, enhancing Gadens’ brand presence in the graduate market
- Provide market insights and data-driven recommendations on hiring, remuneration and talent trends
- Partner with Learning & Development to design and deliver impactful Early Careers development programs
- Support and guide supervisors in performance management and development of graduates and clerks
- Leverage systems, reporting and analytics to inform decision-making and continuous improvement
