About Us
Big Warehouse Refurbs is a fast-growing circular economy business — we take returned, factory-second, and refurbished electronics (laptops, robot vacuums, microwaves, Samsung gear, DJ/AV equipment) and get them back into people's homes. We've moved over 25,000 units and we're only getting busier. Based in Towradgi, selling across eBay, Amazon, Kogan, WMP, and our own Shopify store.
The Role
We need someone who takes pride in doing the small things right, over and over, without cutting corners. You'll be on the floor cleaning, testing, and processing stock every day — this is hands-on, repetitive, detail-driven work. If you get satisfaction from turning something grubby and untested into something that looks and works like new, this is your role.
What You'll Be Doing
- Cleaning incoming stock to a consistent, high standard (cosmetic detailing, sanitising, presentation-ready finish)
- Running standard test/QC procedures on units before they go back on sale
- Following documented processes exactly — and telling us when a process could be tighter
- Flagging faults, damage, or anything that doesn't meet our resale standard
- Keeping your bench and workflow organised so throughput doesn't slip
- Repeating the same task accurately, shift after shift, without the quality dropping off
Who We Want
- Doesn't mind repetitive work — you find rhythm in it, not boredom
- Naturally raises the bar — if the standard is "good enough," you want it better
- Comfortable following a documented process step-by-step, exactly as written
- Reliable and punctual — we run on daily throughput targets
- Physically capable of standing, lifting (up to ~20kg), and repetitive hand tasks all day
- Good attention to detail — you'll spot the scratch, the loose screw, the thing that's "almost right"
- No experience required — full training provided. Right attitude matters more than background.
