Cafs is seeking an organised and customer-focused Administrator Family Support to join our Family Support team.
This important role provides high-quality administrative and coordination support that enables Family Support Practitioners and managers to deliver responsive services to children, young people, families and carers. You will contribute to program success through accurate data entry, reliable document management, professional customer service and proactive support to the team.
The Family Support program provides early help, targeted support and ongoing assistance to children, young people, families and carers across the Central Highlands region. The program works alongside families to strengthen safety, wellbeing, parenting capacity, connection and stability, with practice informed by Cafs' values, child safety commitments and TBRI model of care. The program supports families to access timely information, coordinated service responses and practical assistance that promotes healing, hope and meaningful outcomes.
As the Administrator Family Support, you will:
- Provide efficient administrative support to the Family Support program and Manager Family Support.
- Maintain accurate records, files and information within organisational systems.
- Support intake, referrals, appointments and meeting coordination.
- Provide professional and responsive customer service to families, staff and stakeholders.
- Prepare, format and distribute correspondence, reports, agendas and minutes.
- Assist with program reporting, quality requirements and documentation management.
- Support service continuity through timely communication and follow-up activities.
- Manage competing priorities while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive and values-driven team culture.
You will bring:
- Relevant administration, business, community services qualifications or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience in administrative support roles.
- Experience with data entry, records management and document control.
- Strong customer service and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience coordinating appointments, meetings and diaries.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office and information management systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively within a team environment.
