COOK / CHEF WANTED — DOLLY’S @ THE GARAGE

We’re looking for a cook or chef to join the team at Dolly’s @ The Garage — a brand-new hospitality space in the heart of Toodyay.
Dolly’s is all about great food, great coffee and really good vibes. We’re creating a relaxed, beautiful space with an elevated homestyle menu — fresh, generous, contemporary food that people actually want to eat.
THE ROLE
We’re looking for someone who is:
- A confident cook with a genuine love of food
- Experienced in a café, restaurant or similar kitchen environment
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
- Organised, reliable and able to keep a busy kitchen running smoothly
- Passionate about fresh, quality food and presentation
- Happy to contribute ideas and have a bit of fun with the menu
- Someone who takes pride in a clean, calm and well-run kitchen
You don't necessarily need to be a qualified chef — if you're an experienced cook with great skills, a good attitude and a love of food, we want to hear from you.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
You'll be involved in everything from daily café service and food prep to menu development, catering and occasional evening events.
Our menu will be small, seasonal and thoughtfully designed, with plenty of scope to bring your own ideas to the table.
You'll have the opportunity to help shape the kitchen and menu from the ground up.

We're creating a community-focused space in a beautiful heritage building, with a café, events, workshops, pop-ups, retail and plenty happening throughout the week.
