About the opportunity
An opportunity to join a multidisciplinary Community Mental Health Team providing recovery focused care to consumers experiencing mental illness. A unique opportunity to be a part of a vibrant mental health Team offering short to long term term support to clients referred to the service. Be part of a welcoming, friendly and highly skilled team at the Wyndham Clinic, Hoppers Crossing. We are passionate about providing an accessible high-quality service to the rapid growing, diverse community we serve.

Provide quality client-focused care to consumers, complementing the role of Recovery Clinicians and assisting to engage consumers with their treating team and to achieve their recovery goals. Offering linkages with services and ensuring consumer needs are met or aligned with treatment goals.

Supporting the clinical team with physical health monitoring and running the depot clinic. Assessing consumer's mental states and escalating to the clinical team for further follow-ups and management plans.

Optional: there is an option to support with follow-ups within the Multi-disciplinary Brief Intervention Team, whereby intensive but short term support is offered to consumers and carers in a highly responsive and flexible manner.

You will need to have medication endorsement to fulfil responsibilities of this role.
