Laboratory Production Technician (Part-Time)

National Diagnostic Products develops, manufactures and markets pioneering medical diagnostic products under the BETACHEK® brand for home diabetes monitoring. Our products are sold worldwide.
We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Production Technician to join our production team on a part-time basis (3 days per week) in Willoughby.
Key Responsibilities
- Batch preparation and processing of IVD products
- In-process testing and final inspection
- Testing of raw materials and finished goods
- Instrument calibration and maintenance
- Accurate calculation, documentation and filing of results
- Assisting with method writing and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) updates
- Working in accordance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and ISO 13485 requirements
About You
- Tertiary qualification in Science (Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry or related field)
- Previous laboratory or production experience (pharmaceutical, medical device or IVD industry highly regarded)
- Experience with batch preparation, testing and quality documentation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance
- Ability to work to deadlines while maintaining high standards
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Knowledge of ISO 13485 and/or GMP is desirable
- Familiarity with Occupational Health & Safety requirements
What We Offer
- 3 days per week (flexible days by agreement)
- $34 – $36 per hour + 12% superannuation (Equivalent to approximately $45,000 – $48,000 pro-rata per year)
