Tropical North Learning Academy - Trinity Beach State School is located on the northern beaches of Cairns.

Your opportunity:
The Guidance Officer will play a key role as a member of the school leadership and student support team, contributing to the wellbeing, engagement and educational success of students across the school.
Responsibilities include:
You will provide individualised guidance support for targeted students identified through whole school Tier 2 referral processes, enrolment processes with parent/carer consent and emerging needs.
Working alongside Deputy Principals, the Head of Special Education Services, Social Worker and extended Student Support Team, you will contribute to assessment, case management, intervention planning and coordinated support for students and families.
You will also provide specialised support for students in Out of Home Care, ensuring their educational, wellbeing and individual needs are understood and appropriately supported.
