PrimeMedix Medical Centre is modern, patient-focused clinic located in Sydney, Menai NSW 2234. We are looking for a Registered Nurse with past general practice experience. A candidate who is a self-motivated, resourceful individual that can take initiative and manage their work independently and as part of a team. This role is ideal for a RN that values autonomy, flexibility and making a difference in the health of their patients. The role is a part time weekday position, 15-25 hours approx per week. To be considered, you must have solid clinical experience, including working as a nurse in a general practice setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide patient-centred care including immunisations, wound care, assisting in procedures and chronic disease management.
- Assist GPs with care plans, health assessments, recalls, and patient education.
- Maintain cold chain, infection control, and accreditation standards.
- Take initiative, identify patients for preventive care and support quality improvement.
- An active role in preparing and maintaining documentation required for practice accreditation and compliance
- Extract and analyse patient population data using POLAR and clinical software systems.
- Identify patient cohorts eligible for preventative health initiatives, chronic disease management programs, and targeted health clinics.
- Work collaboratively with GPs and the healthcare team to improve preventative care outcomes and quality improvement activities.
About You:
- Current AHPRA registration (Registered Nurse)
- Current CPR certificate
- Immunisation certification (or willingness to complete within 3 months)
- Past experience in general practice nursing
- Reliable and proactive with a positive attitude
- Critical thinker and problem solver
