About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced leader to join Wagga Wagga Base Hospital as the Whole of Hospital Program Lead.
Working closely with the General Manager, Executive and multidisciplinary teams, you will lead hospital-wide service redesign, quality improvement and operational excellence. You will establish local governance, oversee quality, Work Health and Safety (WHS) and infection prevention and control, and drive sustainable improvements that enhance patient flow, clinical governance and patient outcomes.
As the Whole of Hospital Program Lead, you will:

Lead the implementation of the Whole of Hospital Program across Wagga Wagga Base Hospital.

Drive service redesign, quality improvement and initiatives to enhance patient flow and hospital performance.

Establish governance structures and oversee project delivery, quality, Work Health and Safety, and infection prevention and control.

Partner with clinical and operational leaders to deliver sustainable organisational change and improved patient outcomes.

Lead project planning, stakeholder engagement, risk management, reporting and executive presentations.

Build partnerships across MLHD and NSW Health, while supporting the General Manager with quality improvement, complaint resolution and strategic priorities.

About You
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:

Relevant tertiary qualifications with extensive experience in emergency medicine, nursing, patient flow, health service management or a related field.

Proven experience leading complex service redesign, quality improvement and change management projects.

Strong project management, analytical, leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.

Experience managing programs, resources and reporting to achieve strategic outcomes.
-
A collaborative approach with a commitment to innovation, patient-centred care and continuous improvement.

Current Class C Driver Licence.
