Transition to Work Regional Manager - Hunter Region
About the program
The Transition to Work (TtW) employment service helps young people (15-24) into work (including apprenticeships and traineeships) or education or training. TtW participants receive intensive, pre-employment support to develop practical skills to get a job, connect with education or training, find local job opportunities, and connect with relevant local community services.
About the role
This role is integral in the development and ongoing delivery of the TtW program. Reporting to the TtW Service Manager, you will support building an outcome driven and inspiring team within your region, which is in line with VERTO's culture and People Plan.
The role is required to lead operational requirements at a regional level across the Hunter region to ensure delivery of a high-quality and contractually compliant service.
About you, you will have
- Demonstrated leadership experience and a proven record of achievement in the employment services industry
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of government funded employment services programs, preferably Transition to Work.
- Demonstrated incisive business acumen, including sound program and financial management skills
- Successfully managed and mentored high-performance teams to deliver quality outcomes to both internal and external stakeholders
- Exceptional people and leadership skills that deliver positive outcomes in both a strategic and operational environment, building an outcome driven and inspiring team culture in line with VERTO's culture and People Plan
- Ability to be innovative to build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders and thrive in a performance and compliant environment
- Experience in a role with a similar portfolio size and level of seniority
- Relevant qualifications.
