Leap Start Early Learning Child Care Southern River is beautifully designed, exceptionally resourced, and meticulously presented.
Facilities are professionally cleaned daily, a gardener and maintenance person ensure safety, aesthetics and functionality are maintained year-round.
The centrally located nature playgrounds with animals, creeks, bike paths and large verandas enable safe outside play in all weather conditions.
We believe in a child centred and child guided approach to our curriculum and encourage our families to be part of this process, as we treasure them and cherish our children.
But we also know that our amazing staff are at the heart of our centres and as such they are valued as unique, skilled and knowledgeable professionals.
Our centre opens at 6.30am until 6.00pm Monday - Friday. First shifts start at 6.15 am.

Tasks & responsibilities
- Engaging with children, families and staff and building reciprocal relationships
- Implementing EYLF curriculum, observing, analysing, planning, implementing, reflecting, and extending on children's interests
- Supervising children and providing behavioural guidance
- Working harmoniously within a team
- Being proactive and independent in approach to work.

Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care must be held and current at the time of application
- First Aid Certificate
- Safe Food Handling Certificate
- Working With Children Check
- Interest in STEAM pedagogy
- Possibly bilingual
- Be able to work 5 days a week and flexible with shifts 6.15am-6.00pm
- Able to attend professional development
- Have 1-year minimum experience as a Team Leader
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience in early childhood education is required
Pay: $40.00 – $42.00 per hour
