We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our payroll and accounts team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Process high volume payroll for temp contractors and internal staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Prepare and send invoices to clients and reconcile accounts as required.
- Process high volume time sheets, invoice clients, award interpretation, reconciling accounts, email response and generate reports.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up-to-date and follow up on outstanding invoices.
- Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries from employees.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely financial processing.
- Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and payroll regulations.
- Accounts payable and receivable experience desirable but not mandate, may be assigned to manage accounts payable and receivable for company expenses only if have the experience
Skills
- Proficiency in payroll software such as Employment Hero, Xero and Fastrack
- Strong understanding of debits, credits, and corporate accounting principles
- Experience with HRIS systems for employee data management
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends or discrepancies
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing payroll
- Strong communication skills to interact with employees regarding payroll inquiries

Pay: $75,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
