About the role
Our Perth Buildings team is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Mechanical BIM Modeller to join our Mechanical team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong Revit experience in HVAC and building services projects who is looking to further their career within a collaborative and established team environment.
You'll have the opportunity to contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects across the commercial, residential, healthcare, and education sectors, helping deliver high-quality outcomes for our clients.
Working closely with our Senior BIM Modeller and Project Engineers, you'll play an integral role in the coordination, modelling, and documentation of projects, ensuring deliverables are produced accurately and on time across multiple project streams.
Day to day tasks would involve:
- Producing high-quality documentation and drawings using Revit
- Supporting Engineers and Project Engineers in the successful delivery of projects
- Developing and coordinating BIM models in line with project requirements and company standards
- Managing modelling and drafting deliverables to meet project milestones and deadlines
- Maintaining compliance with quality procedures, professional standards, and best practices
- Contributing positively to a collaborative and supportive team culture
To be successful for this role you'll need:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience using Revit for mechanical building services / HVAC projects
- A solid understanding of BIM principles, workflows, and coordination processes
- Experience using clash detection and coordination software
- A genuine interest in continuing to develop your Revit, BIM, and technical knowledge
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- A positive, proactive, and solutions-focused attitude
