About the Role
A busy, well-established café in Maida Vale is looking for a motivated, reliable and energetic team member to join us on a full-time/part-time basis.
This is a dual-role position involving both barista duties and café kitchen operations, making it ideal for:
- Experienced baristas wanting a long-term career opportunity.
- Applicants undertaking a Job Ready Program in Commercial Cookery who are looking to gain practical café kitchen experience while also developing barista and customer service skills.
We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, excellent work ethic and genuine willingness to learn. We can teach skills, but we value reliability, teamwork and commitment above all else.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing espresso coffee and other hot and cold beverages
- Customer service and taking orders
- Food preparation and café kitchen duties
- Opening and closing café procedures
- Cleaning and maintaining a high standard of hygiene
- Restocking and general café duties
- Working efficiently during busy service periods
- Supporting teammates wherever required

- Comfortable working across both the coffee and kitchen sections

Availability Requirements
Applicants must be able to:
- Work full-time (or similar hours)
- Be available 5–6 days per week
- Start between 5:30 AM and 6 AM
- Finish approximately 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM
- Work opening and closing shifts as required
- Have reliable transport if living outside the local area due to early morning start times
