About the Opportunity
As a Transport Officer based at Royal Perth Hospital, Bentley Health Service, or Mount Lawley Hospital, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients, staff, and essential equipment and supplies between hospitals, nursing homes, and other locations. You’ll collaborate closely with emergency services, assist in the delivery of critical medical supplies, and ensure vehicles are clean, safe, and ready for use.
Our Transport Officers operate on a structured Monday to Friday rotating roster, with only occasional weekend shifts.

Qualifications and Experience
Completion of Certificate III or equivalent in Australian Qualifications Framework in a relevant field (e.g. Health Support Services)
Current “C” or “C-A” class Australian driver’s licence
Good communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to interact with people from diverse backgrounds
Demonstrated knowledge in manual handling principles and techniques
Has well developed organisational and time management skills
Commitment to the provision of a patient/customer focussed service
Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised as well as part of a team
