We are a small, family-owned early learning centre looking for a motivated and reliable full-time trainee to join our friendly team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in early childhood education while completing your Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
About the Role
As a trainee, you'll work alongside our experienced educators and become part of our close-knit team. You'll gain practical experience caring for children from 6 weeks to 5 years, while developing the knowledge and skills needed for a rewarding career in early childhood.
You'll be supported as you learn how to:
- Build warm and meaningful relationships with children and families.
- Support children's development and learning through play and everyday experiences.
- Assist with routines such as meals, sleep, nappy changes and hygiene.
- Help create fun, engaging and age-appropriate learning experiences.
- Contribute to a safe, positive and welcoming environment.
- Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team.
- Develop your confidence, knowledge and skills as an early childhood educator.
The Person We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
- 18 years or older.
- Must be an Australian citizen or have permanent residency
- Genuine and passionate about working with young children.
- Caring, friendly and enthusiastic.
- Reliable, punctual and responsible.
- Keen to learn and develop new skills.
- A confident communicator and team player.
- Committed to completing their Certificate III traineeship.
- Ready to become part of a small and supportive team.
No previous childcare experience is required — we're looking for the right attitude, enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
