Your new role:
Working under the guidance of treating clinicians, you will provide essential clinical and practical support to mental health consumers with complex needs to promote independent living and recovery.
Deliver consumer care: Implement individual or group treatment programs, conduct clinical screenings, and assist with daily living skills under therapist supervision.
Provide community linkages: Support consumers through transport, advocacy, crisis response, and education to help them successfully transition and access vital services.
Manage clinical data: Complete accurate, timely electronic documentation across specialized healthcare applications to meet critical legislative and Mental Health Act requirements.
About you:
We are looking for a collaborative, culturally sensitive professional who holds the required qualifications and is dedicated to person-centred care and safety.
Qualified and compliant: Hold a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or Mental Health, a valid Class C driver's licence, and meet all mandatory healthcare vaccination requirements.
Skilled team collaborator: Excel at working within multi-disciplinary teams, resolving conflicts, and communicating effectively with diverse patients, carers, and external support networks.
Proactive service supporter: Demonstrate an ability to mentor less experienced staff, manage risk safely, and actively participate in ongoing service and quality improvement activities.
