What You’ll Be Doing
- Station Management: Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and station standards. Ensure your station is clean, organised, and well-stocked throughout service.
- Consistency & Quality: Follow recipes and plating guidelines to deliver consistent flavour, presentation, and portion size for every dish.
- Food Safety: Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety, following all food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Prep Work: Assist with daily prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, portioning, and organising ingredients to support a smooth kitchen operation.
- Support Kitchen Flow: Work efficiently and stay focused during busy service times to keep up with orders and avoid delays.
- A deep appreciation and understanding of Japanese cuisine.
