About the Role We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Pipeline Testing Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for executing critical quality assurance and structural integrity testing on newly installed and rehabilitated infrastructure to ensure all assets meet council, local government, and engineering specifications prior to handover. This is a hands-on field role suited to someone who takes pride in accuracy, compliance, and doing the job right the first time. Key Responsibilities Perform air and vacuum testing of gravity sewer lines in accordance with relevant Australian Standards Conduct manhole and maintenance hole integrity testing Undertake hydrostatic pressure testing of water mains, rising mains and pressure pipelines Accurately record, document and report all test results, including preparation of QA documentation for submission Identify and report defects, non-conformances, and potential failures Ensure all testing activities are conducted in compliance with WHS policies, procedures and safe work method statements Liaise with Site Supervisors, Project Managers and Council Inspectors Maintain testing equipment in good working order and ensure calibration is current Skills & Experience Required Proven experience in pipeline testing within the civil construction / water infrastructure sector Strong working knowledge of WSAA codes, Australian Standards, and local council specifications Competent in QA documentation and reporting Current White Card - Construction Induction Current manual driver's licence Confined Space and Working at Heights tickets highly regarded Ability to work autonomously, manage time effectively and work as part of a team Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality What We Offer Full-time, ongoing position with immediate start Competitive hourly rate + overtime + allowances - based on experience Work with a reputable civil contractor on quality projects Supportive team culture with a strong focus on safety If you are a reliable Technician with a strong work ethic and the relevant testing experience, we want to hear from you.
