Key Responsibilities
To assist with personal support tasks including activities of daily living through application of a wellness and independence approach. This is done in line with the participant’s care plan, provide personal care assistance with food, medication and other personal care tasks such as assisting with the fitting of aids, or assisting the client to eat meals.
Client requires 24/7 care and support workers are required to provide support during this period.
Client requires assistance with medication and meal preparation as well as meal assistance.
This position requires minimum of Cert 4 in Disability/ Cert 3 in community services, any valid certificate of Mental Health Assisstance, or Individual Support and you must provide PI/PL Insurance Cover.
We are currently seeking dedicated and skilled support workers with prior experience supporting mental health clients,_ particularly those who can confidently and professionally manage escalating behaviours_.

License/Certification/Qualifications:
Essential
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Australian driver's license
- First Aid & CPR (Regularly updated before expiry)
- National Police Check (Completed within the last 12 months and updated every 3 years)
- Cert III or IV in Disability Support
- Work Authorisation in Australia
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Medication Assistance Certificate
- COVID-19 Vaccinated
- Infection Prevention and Control Cert (Can assist in obtaining one if required)
- Mental Health Assisstance Certificate
Desirable
- Manual Handling Certificate
- Working with Children Check (Preferred)
