Nextt is seeking an experienced and reliable
Disability Support Worker to provide person-centred support to clients in
Mount Barker.
This opportunity would suit someone with strong complex care experience who is confident supporting clients with personal care, mobility and everyday activities while promoting independence and dignity.
About the Role
Support may include:
- Showering, dressing and grooming
- Meal preparation and household tasks
- Mobility support and manual handling
- Medication assistance
- Supporting clients to develop life skills and work towards personal goals
- Completing progress notes, records and incident reports
Shifts: Wednesdays & Saturdays: 8:00am – 10:00am
Requirements
To be considered, you will need:
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Completed NDIS Orientation Module – Quality, Safety and You
- Relevant complex care and manual handling experience
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- Reliable transport
- A respectful, reliable and person-centred approach to support
Pay Rates
E3.1 (Casual in home and SIL)
SCHADS Award E3.1 Casual Rates (before tax):
- Base hourly rate: $36.81
- Afternoon shift (shift ends between 8pm and midnight, Monday to Friday): $40.49
- Active Night shift (Finishes after midnight or starts before 6am, Monday to Friday) $41.23
- Saturday: $51.54
- Sunday: $66.26
- Public holiday: $80.99
