The Team & Role
Join Bayside Health's Family Violence Program as a Family Violence Intake and Assessment Practitioner within The Orange Door. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you'll play a vital role in supporting victim survivors, children and families, while contributing specialist expertise in working with people who use violence. Based at one of our Orange Door sites across Frankston, Northern or Westernport, you'll deliver intake, assessment, risk management, safety planning and coordinated referrals, helping improve safety and wellbeing outcomes for the community.

Skills & Experience Required
Tertiary Qualification in Social Work/Social Science or related fields
Qualifications must align with the Mandatory Minimum Qualification Requirements for Specialist Family Violence Practitioner (Recommendation 209)
Registration with AHPRA or eligible for registration with AASW
Experience in related fields across the Family Violence Sector
Demonstrable risk management and safety planning skills and a familiarity with MARAM
Familiarity with the key underpinning legislation including the Privacy Act, Health Records Act, Children, Youth and Family Act, Family Violence Act
Demonstrated knowledge of No to Violence principles, standards and practice
