Your new role:
As a valued member of our Clinical Services team, you'll deliver high-quality patient care across a broad range of rural medical services while working alongside experienced Rural Generalists in a collaborative learning environment. You'll do this by:
Providing safe, evidence-based medical care under the supervision of senior Rural Generalist clinicians.
Assessing, diagnosing and managing patients across a variety of inpatient, outpatient and emergency settings.
Supporting the supervision and development of junior medical staff and students.
Participating in clinical handovers, multidisciplinary team meetings and quality improvement activities.
Contributing to patient-centred care through effective communication with patients, families and the wider healthcare team.
Maintaining your professional development through ongoing education, feedback and clinical learning opportunities.
About you:
You're a motivated medical practitioner who enjoys working in a collaborative rural environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care. You'll bring:
Registration (or eligibility for registration) as a Medical Practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia.
Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams.
A commitment to continuous learning, professional development and clinical excellence.
The ability to prioritise workload and perform effectively in a dynamic healthcare environment.
A patient-focused approach underpinned by integrity, compassion, respect and teamwork.

Logan Hospital:
Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
