Grade 1 Speech Pathologist
Participate in rotational grade 1 program in an environment of learning and clinical excellence
Full time, ongoing role working 80 hours per fortnight

About the Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH):
RMH part of the Parkville Precinct and is one of Australia's leading public hospitals, providing a comprehensive range of specialist medical, surgical, and mental health services, as well as rehabilitation, aged care, specialist clinics and community programs. We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Speech Pathology team. This is a full time, ongoing Grade 1 rotating position at the Royal Melbourne Hospital.
About the role:
An exciting opportunity exists for a clinical role within the RMH Speech Pathology department. Working as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team, the grade 1 Speech Pathologist will be responsible for the assessment and management of communication & swallowing disorders across many areas of the service. The Speech Pathology department has a multitude of programs, such as a regular peer support program, to allow grade 1 clinicians to develop clinical and professional skills.
About You:
A Grade 1 Speech Pathologist with at least 6 months of relevant experience in adult acute, subacute, and/or community rehabilitation settings.
A proactive and adaptable clinician who is eager to learn and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
A commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning to enhance clinical practice.
