Brisbane | Hybrid – 3 days in office | Permanent Full-Time
Seers Digital is looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our Brisbane team.
This role is suited to someone who thrives in complex, ambiguous environments and is confident leading discovery, shaping requirements and working with senior stakeholders to define clear business outcomes.
You’ll play a key role in helping clients understand the real problems they are trying to solve, translating those needs into practical requirements and supporting delivery teams to build solutions that create measurable value.
- Lead end-to-end business analysis activities across complex IT and digital projects
- Facilitate discovery and requirements elicitation where business needs, objectives or future-state outcomes are not yet clearly defined
- Work closely with stakeholders to challenge assumptions and ensure solutions address underlying business problems
- Manage complex stakeholder environments and build alignment across competing priorities and viewpoints
- Document business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and process models
- Partner with project managers, developers, testers and vendors to maintain alignment on scope, requirements and outcomes
- Identify risks, gaps and dependencies and support project teams with mitigation planning
- Contribute to continuous improvement across BA practices and delivery processes
- Support client-facing workshops, discussions and project activities
- 10+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst across IT or digital projects
- Demonstrated experience leading discovery and requirements elicitation in complex or evolving environments
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior business and technical stakeholders
- Experience facilitating workshops and building consensus across different business areas
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working within Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence or Miro
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a broader delivery team
- Consulting or client-facing delivery experience
- Experience working within asset-intensive industries such as transport, utilities, local government, resources or infrastructure
