APG Workforce is seeking a mill hand to support in our clients located at Tamworth.
- Hours: 38 per week +
- Monday to Friday, day shift.
- Casual hourly pay rate $32.2 per hour.
- PPE and onsite training provided, casual to permanent opportunities.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Perform cleaning duties as directed by the Supervisor/Manager, following company procedures and safety standards.
- Complete scheduled cleaning tasks and maintain accurate cleaning records.
- Ensure compliance with Quality, HACCP, GMP, and Safety requirements.
- Assist in meeting cleaning performance targets and KPIs.
- Clean intake, meal, and grain storage areas.
- Work independently within established procedures.
- Participate in training as required.
- Assist in other feed mill areas when required and suitably trained.
Our selection criteria:
- Driver’s license and own reliable transport to get to work.
- Must have experience in poultry industry
- Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must have ability to make quick and correct decisions “on the job”
- Must have excellent time management skills and high level of attention to detail.
- No birds, chickens or pigs at home (quarantine regulation)
- Be physically fit with no restrictions for repetitive manual handling duties including heavy lifting.
- Work Rights: Permanent resident of Australia or Australian Citizen
- Ability to work reasonable overtime as required
- Follow site hygiene policies and procedures
