About the Role
At QT Canberra, we’re brewing more than coffee—we’re serving personality in every cup. As our Barista extraordinaire, you’ll master the art of espresso while dazzling guests with charm and a friendly experience. From silky flat whites to bold lattes, you’ll keep the beans flowing, the machines humming, and the vibes high. If you’ve got a love for coffee, a flair for fun, and the flexibility to roll with our schedule.
Skills & Experience
- Delivered exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking accurate orders, and providing tailored recommendations.
- Previous experience in preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages, including lattes, cappuccinos, flat whites, and specialty drinks, following hotel standards.
- Skilled in operating and maintaining espresso machines and grinders, ensuring cleanliness and optimal performance.
- Maintained quality control by monitoring brewing time, water temperature, and milk steaming for consistent flavour and presentation.
- Managed inventory of coffee beans and supplies, while adhering to strict hygiene and safety protocols in a fast-paced environment.
- Certified Barista or relevant experience with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; capable of standing for extended periods and lifting heavy items.
