As we continue to grow our workforce, we are seeking an experienced and people-focused People and Culture Business Partner to join our People & Culture team. This is an excellent opportunity to influence organisational outcomes, partner with leaders across the business, and contribute to a positive, purpose-driven workplace.
About the role:
As a trusted advisor, you will work closely with leaders and stakeholders across WIC to provide strategic and operational human resources support. You will play a key role in delivering contemporary People & Culture initiatives that build organisational capability, enhance employee experience and support the achievement of WIC's strategic objectives.
Your responsibilities will include:

Providing expert advice and guidance across a broad range of people and culture matters.

Supporting leaders with employee relations, performance management and workplace conduct matters.

Providing advice on industrial relations, employment legislation and enterprise agreement provisions.

Partnering with leaders to implement workforce planning, organisational development and change initiatives.

Developing, reviewing and implementing people-related policies, procedures and frameworks.

Contributing to diversity, inclusion and employee engagement activities.

Leading and contributing to People & Culture projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
You will work closely with leaders to identify opportunities, solve complex people challenges and implement practical solutions that align with WIC's values.
Who we're looking for:
You are an experienced HR practitioner with strong business partnering capability and the confidence to influence, challenge and support stakeholders at a range of levels. You build trusted relationships, provide sound and pragmatic advice, and are comfortable navigating complex and sensitive workplace matters.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Employment Relations, Business, or a related discipline

Demonstrated experience providing strategic and operational HR advice within a complex organisation

Sound knowledge of industrial relations, employment law, occupational health and safety, and contemporary HR practices
- Experience interpreting and applying enterprise agreements, policies and legislative frameworks.

The ability to manage complex employee relations matters with professionalism and sound judgement.

Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and consultation skills, with the ability to establish credibility at all levels.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop practical and innovative solutions

High levels of emotional intelligence, resilience, integrity and self-awareness
-
Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Previous experience in public sector or regulatory environments will be viewed favourably.
