LOJ Supports | NDIS Registered Provider | Complex & High-Needs Supports
LOJ Supports is seeking an experienced Specialist Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our growing team. We are a registered NDIS provider delivering high-quality, person-centred behaviour support to participants with complex needs, high-risk presentations, and multifaceted support requirements. This role is ideal for a practitioner who is confident managing their own caseload while also supporting and mentoring other staff within a collaborative, clinically driven environment.
Highly Desirable: Established referral networks and an existing Behaviour Support caseload, with the ability to contribute to immediate service delivery opportunities.
About the Role
As a Specialist Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will:
- Manage your own diverse caseload of complex NDIS participants
- Conduct comprehensive functional behaviour assessments
- Develop and implement evidence-based Behaviour Support Plans
- Deliver proactive, trauma-informed, and least-restrictive practices
- Provide clinical guidance, mentoring, and oversight to junior practitioners and support staff
- Work collaboratively with families, support coordinators, allied health professionals, and support teams
- Contribute to continuous improvement in practice standards across LOJ Supports
- Ensure all documentation aligns with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- An NDIS-registered Behaviour Support Practitioner (proficient with a minimum of 2 years experience or above highly regarded)
- Experienced working with complex behaviours of concern and high-support needs participants
- Confident managing a standalone caseload
- Skilled in positive behaviour support, trauma-informed care, and restrictive practice reduction
- Able to provide informal supervision and guidance to other practitioners
- Highly organised, autonomous, and solution-focused
- Passionate about improving outcomes for people with disability
