Are you passionate about facilities asset management, maintenance planning and using asset data to influence future investment decisions? This role is ideal for someone who can translate asset, condition and maintenance data into meaningful insights, supporting evidence-based maintenance, renewal and capital investment decisions across Council's facilities portfolio. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the management and continuous improvement of Facilities asset information within Council's CMMS, Assetic.
- Supporting the development, review and ongoing maintenance of Asset and Service Management Plans (ASMPs).
- Undertaking asset modelling and lifecycle planning activities within NAMS+ and associated systems.
- Planning, coordinating and undertaking facility and asset condition inspections and assessments across Council's portfolio.
- Maintaining accurate asset, condition and inspection data to support informed asset management decision-making.
- Supporting the development and continuous improvement of risk-based Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programs.
- Using maintenance, condition, lifecycle, risk and financial information to identify future renewal and investment requirements.
- Monitoring and analysing OPEX and CAPEX information to support budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning.
- Preparing asset management reports, condition assessments, lifecycle analysis and evidence-based recommendations for key stakeholders.
Skills and experience:
- Demonstrated background in facilities, infrastructure or asset management, including strategic and operational maintenance planning.
- Strong capability in managing asset information and CMMS data, including asset hierarchies, condition information and data quality.
- Knowledge of asset condition assessments and inspections, with the ability to translate findings into lifecycle and renewal planning outcomes.
- Contributions to Asset Management Plans (AMPs) or Asset and Service Management Plans (ASMPs) and long-term asset investment planning initiatives.
- Proficiency in NAMS+, Assetic or similar asset management and maintenance systems.
- Strong analytical and financial capability, with the ability to interpret maintenance, condition and asset data to support OPEX and CAPEX planning.
- Well-developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across operational, technical and corporate teams.
- A practical and organised approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Asset Management, Facilities Management, Engineering or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
