Are you an experienced communications professional with strong content development and stakeholder engagement skills?
This exciting, hybrid, full-time opportunity within the Communications & Public Affairs team is available on an ongoing, or non-ongoing basis for up to 12 months. The role can be based in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Darwin, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth or Sydney.
Remuneration: The annual salary range for the position is APS5 - $88,834 - $96,829 p.a., plus a generous employer superannuation contribution of 15.4%.
About the opportunity
The Communications Officer works collaboratively to deliver a professional, responsive communications service for the Tribunal's internal and external stakeholders. Supporting a range of communications, media and stakeholder engagement activities, the role works across diverse projects and digital channels, creating engaging content, providing communications advice and fostering productive relationships.
The Communications & Public Affairs team offers challenging work in a supportive environment, with opportunities for professional development and flexible working arrangements, including for those who work remotely.
About you:
Working closely with managers and team members, you will be a motivated and collaborative communications professional with excellent writing and stakeholder engagement skills. You will enjoy working across a range of projects and digital channels, be confident managing multiple priorities, exercise sound judgement and contribute effectively in a dynamic team environment.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- highly developed research, writing, editing and proofreading skills
- highly developed written and visual communication skills
- experience creating and managing engaging content across a range of digital channels
- sound judgement, strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build productive relationships and work with discretion and sensitivity
- demonstrated SharePoint and design capabilities.
Qualifications
Desirable:
- Tertiary qualifications in a field of study relevant to some or all of the required capabilities, OR relevant experience in a similar work environment.
