We are Veriu Group (pronounced 'Very You')!
Our brands come from humble beginnings and a passion for connecting travellers to the local authenticity of a location. We aim to bring people together in new ways, to create lifelong travel memories that can’t be found in a guidebook, and to help people discover the true experience of a place.
Through our brands Punthill Apartment Hotels and Veriu Hotels & Suites, we operate 27 hotels across Australia and have over 35 years of brand history. Our ambitious plan to operate 80 hotels becomes closer this year with numerous new hotel openings across the country, and this means we’re well on our way to achieving our mission of becoming the largest Australian-owned apartment hotel operator.
Our people are incredible because they're empowered to be themselves. We're not about hierarchy or rigid structure. Instead, we create an environment where people can make decisions, feel supported and access unlimited opportunities for growth. Our values of Relationship-Focused, Integrity, Personal Growth & Ownership Mindset guide our actions and decisions, and are what our diverse culture is all about.
Now is the perfect time for like-minded people to join our expansion journey. If you’re looking for a meaningful role that can make a serious impact, within a culture that allows you to be truly you – you’ve found us and we can’t wait to hear from you!
Responsibilities
If you love relationship-building, reservation sales and creating exceptional guest experiences, this is your opportunity to play a pivotal role in one of our fastest-growing business segments.
As our Extended Stay Specialist, you'll be the trusted day-to-day contact for insurance agents, relocation companies and other extended stay partners, managing key relationships that drive significant business across our hotel network. You'll be the first person our partners call for enquiries, known for your responsiveness, reliability and ability to find solutions.
This is a role for someone who thrives on ownership. You'll manage enquiries and bookings from end-to-end, proactively identify opportunities, resolve challenges, and ensure every commitment is followed through. Working closely with hotel teams across the Group, you'll help deliver seamless guest experiences, protect valuable partner relationships, and drive extended stay revenue growth.
As the subject matter expert for extended stay business, you'll also play an important role in coaching and supporting both hotel and contact centre teams, championing best practice and helping to raise service standards across the business.
During quieter periods, you'll contribute broadly across the Customer Relations & Contact Centre (CRCC) function, and during peak demand, you'll help ensure the wider CRCC team has the knowledge, confidence and tools required to effectively support the extended stay booking process you're responsible for.
If you're commercially minded, highly organised, relationship-focused and motivated by delivering results, you'll find plenty of opportunity to make your mark in this role.
