The Opportunity
We are looking for an Experienced Senior Veterinary Nurse to join our team on a full-time basis, or for the right candidate, on a permanent part-time basis.
In this role, you will play a key part in the smooth running of our clinic, while providing leadership, support, and mentorship to fellow nursing staff.
Duties & Responsibilities Include:

Surgical nursing and assistance.

In-hospital patient nursing and care.

Conducting nurse consultations.

Assisting with administrative tasks, including wholesaler and laboratory supply ordering.

Minor reception support as needed.
Roster & Hours
-
Full-time or Part-time position flexibility.
-
3 or 4 days per week (31 – 38 hours per week).

Saturday mornings on a 1 in 5 (or better) rotating roster.
-
No After Hours, On-Call, Sundays or Public Holiday work required.
About You
We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and collaborative nurse who thrives in a small animal practice environment and enjoys mentoring others.
Key Qualifications & Requirements:

Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)

5+ years of veterinary nursing experience

Strong nursing background with the ability to guide and mentor less experienced nurses.

Good animal handling skills with a compassionate and patient-focused approach to nursing.

High attention to detail, organised, and a compassionate, patient-first mindset.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.
