We are looking for a Production Storeperson to work in our Production Assembly Team.
Full-time on site at Keysborough
Hours 7.00am - 3.06pm
1. Purpose of this Position
To perform all duties associated with the storing and picking of goods in a safe, efficient and timely manner that meets production and customer requirements.
2. Key Accountabilities
· Health and Safety – comply with H&S requirements, ensure H&S issues are highlighted and resolved in a timeframe relevant to the risk level.
· Bin location maintenance – location changes to be updated immediately.
· Timely updating of live shortage sheet to always ensure accuracy and updates immediately sent to purchasing and operations staff.
· Diligence – alert Leading Hand and/or other staff to issues and discrepancies as a priority and contribute to their resolution.
· Standard operating instructions are strictly complied with.
· Goods are correct to documents and put away in the correct location or distributed for use within given timeframes.
· Picking, packing– ensure all work orders, picking slips and transfers are actioned accurately and within specified timeframes.
· Scheduled cycle counts are accurately conducted and adjustments processed within expected timeframes.
· Warehouse maintenance –Ensure a high professional standard is constantly upheld. Cleanliness and tidiness always maintained. Goods are safely stored and correctly located. Inventory replenishment is ongoing.
· Diligence – alert Team Leader to issues and discrepancies as a priority and as relevant, contribute to their resolution.
· Production picking labour times are correctly and accurately recorded.

5. Key Selection Criteria
· Ability to use a main-frame computer application
· Experience in EXCEL, WMS and SAP systems preferred.
· Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
· Good level of communication and problem resolution skills.
· Physical capacity to perform the inherent requirements of the position.
· Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised to required timeframes and expectations.
· Energetic work ethic.
· Team and customer focused.
· Forklift licence (essential).
· Current Car licence (desirable).
6. Flexibility
The company may from time to time direct the employee to perform other duties that are appropriate for the employee’s skill, competence and training.
8. Authority
This position is authorised to operate within policy and procedure and contribute suggestions toward process improvements.

Pay: $29.00 – $30.36 per hour
