DSV Air & Sea is a global freight forwarder operating major centralized logistics facilities across all Australian state capitals. Multi-modal international imports/exports, complex customs brokerage, and project-based industrial freight.
A Freight Forwarder - Transport at DSV Air & Sea is responsible for coordinating the domestic transport leg of international shipments, ensuring cargo moves efficiently between ports, airports, warehouses, and customers.
Main responsibilities:
Coordinate domestic transport for import and export shipments.
Schedule pickups and deliveries using DSV's transport management systems.
Monitor shipments to ensure they meet customer deadlines and KPIs.
Communicate with customers, transport providers, warehouses, and internal teams.
Resolve transport issues such as delays, documentation problems, or space constraints.
Enter shipment and financial data accurately in CargoWise One.
Help improve transport processes while maintaining high customer service standards.
Skills and experience:
Previous experience in freight forwarding or transport operations.
Experience with CargoWise One (preferred).
Good Microsoft Office skills, especially Outlook and Excel.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Good attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
Pay: $5,830.00 – $7,500.00 per month
