Work closely with the Diabetes and Endocrinology Administration Team.
About the role
Join the RMH Diabetes & Endocrinology team as an Administration Assistant, providing essential administrative and reception support across the department, with a focus on the Endocrinology Telehealth Rapid Access Clinic Service (Endo-TRACS).
Working closely with clinicians and the broader administration team, you will coordinate patient bookings and enquiries, maintain accurate records and support efficient clinic workflows. This is a collaborative role contributing to timely, patient-centred care for people accessing Diabetes & Endocrinology services.
Key Accountabilities
Provide safe, efficient and person-centred administrative support to consumers and teams.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, patients, carers and health professionals.
Maintain accurate records, complete required training and work within scope and policy.
Contribute to risk management, safety, continuous improvement and service initiatives.
Promote a respectful, inclusive and psychologically safe workplace, supporting team performance and wellbeing.
About You
You are a customer-focused administrator with experience in a patient-facing environment and a commitment to The Melbourne Way. You bring:
At least 12 months’ experience in a patient or customer service environment.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and information technology skills.
Confidence working with electronic medical record systems, with EPIC experience desirable.
A collaborative, patient-centred approach and commitment to quality service.
