Sales & Marketing Specialist for International Students Recruitment (Contract or Part-time)
King’s School of Culinary Arts is a CRICOS registered vocational education provider in Sydney offering quality education to international students and we have 2 campuses in Sydney CBD.
We have a state-of-the-art training kitchen facility and our own classroom building located next to Sydney's Hyde Park.
About the position
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sales & Marketing Specialist for International Students Recruitment who would join in our mission of offering high quality, industry driven VET courses in Sydney. This role can be contract, part-time time.
This role will be reporting to Sales and Marketing Manager or CEO and will focus to establish and expand our network in international student market for marketing and sales (Those who can speak languages from Spain, Argentina, Brazil, Columbia, Vietnam, Thailand can be highly prioritised). You will need to liaise with agents to promote our college and achieve student recruitment and enrolment targets.
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited:
- Develop and implement student recruitment strategies for both onshore and offshore markets.
- Develop and maintain wide network with onshore & offshore education agents, partners, pathway providers.
- Appointing new and manage the existing network of quality international education agents.
- Regular market visits to manage agent relationships.
- Manage all agent contract/agreement and store in internal database.
- Organise student recruitment activities, advertising, and events including info sessions and education expo
- Develop and manage promotional and marketing materials via social media.
- Manage, advise, and consult with the business on the ongoing compliance with RTO standards.
- Review and update all Marketing materials on a regular basis maintaining compliance.
- Work closely with CEO and/or delegate for business development and growth strategies.
- Respond to agent education and student enquiries.
- Develop proposal for University Pathways program or ELICOS pathway.
Skills and Experience:
A sound understanding of international student recruitment practices and well-established connections with education agents.
- Demonstrated sales and marketing experience in the international education market preferable in VET and CRICOS, also preferably in Hospitality Management and Cookery course provider.
- Excellent knowledge of the Education System in Australia, ESOS Act, the National Code and Student Visa regulations
- Ability to achieve targets and work under pressure and with demonstrated sales portfolio results.
- Self-directed individual who knows what needs to be done and operates with urgency, focus, discipline, and minimal supervision.
- Ability and willingness to undertake international travel as required.
- High level of computer literacy with advanced skills using Campaign Monitor, Google Analytics, Adobe, WordPress and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Lead a team in producing marketing brochures, flyers, and digital advertisements.
- A degree in Business or Marketing is advantageous but not essential.
- The ability to work with students of various age groups, from domestic and international backgrounds.
- Highly effective negotiation, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills including demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strategic alliances with stakeholders.
- Flexibility and adaptability in servicing the needs of diverse market.
- Proficient English speaker with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
