Position Summary:
The Truck Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of products, including collecting raw milk from dairy farms and delivering finished goods to supermarket distribution centres and other customers. The role plays an essential part in maintaining supply chain efficiency, product quality, and the company’s reputation.
Key Responsibilities
· Safely operate company trucks and tankers to collect raw milk from local dairy farms and deliver to the processing facility.
· Load, transport, and deliver finished dairy products to supermarket distribution centres and other delivery points as scheduled.
· Ensure all milk collections and deliveries are completed on time and in full, following established routes and delivery windows.
· Record accurate data, including milk volumes, temperatures, and delivery documentation.
· Perform pre-start and post-trip inspections of vehicles and report any defects or maintenance needs immediately.
· Ensure correct and hygienic handling of milk and products in compliance with food safety standards.
· Maintain cleanliness of vehicle and associated equipment (including hoses, tanks, and fittings).
· Communicate effectively with dispatch, logistics staff, and customers regarding any delivery or collection delays.
· Adhere to all company policies, traffic laws, and Chain of Responsibility requirements.
· Assist with other driving or yard duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience
· Current MC Driver’s Licence (required).
· Previous experience in milk collection, tanker operation, or refrigerated transport (preferred).
· Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and quality standards (training provided if required).
· Knowledge of supermarket distribution centre delivery procedures (advantageous).
· Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour
