Cleaning Subcontractor – Brisbane
Yirra Care / Yirra Clean is expanding our cleaning network across Brisbane and surrounding areas. We are looking for reliable, professional and experienced self-employed cleaners interested in flexible subcontracting opportunities.
We provide cleaning services for private clients, families and NDIS participants across Brisbane and surrounding areas.
About the opportunity
Cleaning assignments may be available across:
- North Brisbane
- South Brisbane
- West Brisbane
- Logan
- Ipswich
- Redlands
- Moreton Bay
- Other surrounding Brisbane areas
Assignments are offered based on client demand, location, cleaner availability and suitability.
This is a self-employed subcontracting opportunity. It is not a permanent employee position, and there are no guaranteed minimum hours or fixed weekly hours.
Contractor rate
AU$35–AU$40 per hour
The applicable contractor rate will depend on the service location and assignment requirements, with higher rates potentially applying to services in more distant locations.
What we are looking for
Applicants should have:
- Active Australian Business Number (ABN)
- Previous cleaning experience
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- Reliable vehicle and transport
- Own cleaning products and equipment
- Current Police Check, preferably issued within the last 12 months
- Australian Right to Work
- Reliable communication
- Professional and respectful approach when working in clients’ homes
- Ability to provide two professional references
- Availability to travel to clients within their nominated service areas
If you already hold an NDIS Worker Screening Check, please let us know. This is not mandatory for all cleaning assignments.
Recruitment process

- Review of cleaning experience, ABN, availability and service areas
- Verification of identification and required compliance documents
- Professional reference checks
- Contractor onboarding
- Consideration for suitable client assignments
Successful onboarding does not guarantee a specific client assignment, number of hours or commencement date.
